In a letter to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan called for the removal of anti-Islamic content on Facebook to prevent anti-Islam hatred and Islamophobia.
According to the PM's communications office, in the contents of the letter, he drew the attention of Facebook CEO to Islamophobia, which is promoting hatred, extremism and violence around the world, especially through social networking sites. That includes Facebook.
He said he appreciated the ban on any material related to Mark Zuckerberg's Holocaust. Today the world is facing a similar problem against Islam.
Imran Khan said that hate speech should be banned completely.
He said that the world does not want to wait any longer for the escalation of the ongoing genocide against Muslims which is currently going on in India and Occupied Kashmir and immediate steps have to be taken.
