Indian filmmaker Hansal Mehta has spoken out against Bollywood's 'Queen' Kangana Ranaut and termed working with her as a 'painful experience'.
In a recent interview, Hansal Mehta mentioned the film 'Sumran' made with Kangana Ranaut in 2017 and remembered it as a painful experience for him.
During the conversation, he even said about the film 'Sumran' that sometimes I think I wish I had never made this film.
The Indian filmmaker said that he considers his film with Kangana Ranaut as an 'unnecessary task' of his career.
Commenting on Kangana Ranaut's departure from the film, Hansal Mehta said, "I have no bitterness about the actress but I have been enjoying her company off screen. It is a different story."
He revealed that during the shooting of the film 'Summer', Kangana Ranaut would take charge of the set and she would also start directing other actors.
The filmmaker further said that apart from the work experience in Simran, I did not feel any evil in Kangana Ranaut's work.
Referring to working with Bollywood Queen again in the future, Hansal Mehta said, "Of course I will do it again with Kangana Ranaut. She is a great actress. In her view, whatever the bitter experience has been, it is meaningless."
Simran had a mediocre business at the box office, after the release of which Hansal Mehta suffered financial problems, which also affected his mental health, which he later underwent treatment.
