New online rules have been issued to curb social media, according to which all companies including YouTube, Facebook, Tik Tok, Twitter will be bound by the rules.

According to a private TV report, according to the new online rules, misinformation about Islam, Defense of Pakistan and Public Order has been banned, while anti-defense and anti-Defense Pakistan content will also be banned. In addition, the uploading of immoral and obscene content has been banned immediately. All companies, including YouTube, Facebook, Tik Tok, Twitter, will be bound by the rules.

It may be recalled that tick talk was banned on public complaints by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority on October 9 after objectionable material came to light, but now PTA has restored tick talk in Pakistan with conditional permission. ۔

 A statement from PTA stated that "it has been decided to reinstate Tik Tok conditionally. The Tik Tok administration will assure that the content will not be republished, as the account is involved in spreading banned content." Yes, they will be closed, accounts will be run according to local laws.
