The 28-year-old man and his 24-year-old wife gave birth to a daughter four months ago, before which they had a son.
One day a quarrel broke out between the couple after which the girl's mother left the house with her son. The woman lied to her husband that she was going to the market for some shopping, then she would return home. However, instead of returning home, the woman took her son to her mother's house. The woman left her 4-month-old daughter alone at home.
While her husband was at home, he went to his office unaware of his daughter's presence at home, from where she had to go out of town for work, and did not return home for a week. Meanwhile, the 4-month-old girl was left alone at home for 9 days and died. When the girl's father returned home nine days later, he found her dead and immediately informed the police. The husband gave all the details and accused his wife of lying.
The husband said that his wife had asked him to leave the house for some time. He thought that his wife would return home, so he left for the office. However, the wife did not return home, which is why the girl in the house died as she was left alone.
