Nawaz Sharif demands judiciary to take 'notice' of Karachi incident

In response to a question from reporters outside the Stan Hope House about the recent speech of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the PML-N leader issued a stern warning and said that a lot is happening, I think the esteemed judiciary Notices should be taken and they are entitled to take notice against such actions (Safdar's arrest).

Last week, Imran Khan had said in a smoky speech at the Tiger Force Convention in Islamabad that bringing Nawaz Sharif back to Pakistan and putting him in jail would be his priority.

Capt. (Retd) Safdar and his wife Maryam Nawaz were staying at a hotel in Karachi for a Pakistan Democratic Movement rally when officers raided their room and arrested them, then released them on bail in Karachi. had gone.

Although Nawaz Sharif did not directly say which case the judiciary should take suo motu notice of, he praised the Sindh police's protest against the alleged massive mismanagement in which the Establishment took action. Was

"These actions are the result of pure anger and revenge. Why?" Because I am telling the truth about these 'state over state' policies where these policies have harmed Pakistan.

It may be recalled that on Monday, PML-N leader Capt (retd) Safdar was arrested on charges of violating the sanctity of Mazar-e-Quaid while he was staying with his wife Maryam Nawaz at a private hotel in Karachi. ۔

He was later granted bail by the court, but the case took a new turn when an audio in the voice of PML-N leader and former Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair was shared by a journalist on social media. ۔

In the audio, Zubair was alleging that "Murad Ali Shah had confirmed to him that an attempt had been made to put pressure on the first IG Sindh police to send him for arrest".

The audio said, "When he denied it, the Rangers kidnapped him at 4 o'clock and the Chief Minister told me the same thing. I asked him again about the word kidnapping and he told me that he was picked up." And took him to the Sector Commander's office where the Additional IG was present and compelled him to issue an order.

Later, Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi denied reports that the Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) had been asked to register an FIR against PML-N leader Capt (retd) Muhammad Safdar. Was 'kidnapped and forced to register an FIR'.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has announced the formation of a ministerial inquiry committee to probe the arrest of PML-N leader Capt (retd) Safdar.

The day after the incident, top officials, including the IG of Sindh Police, had requested to go on leave in protest of the incident that took place on October 19. However, the IG Sindh had postponed his request after assurances from the Sindh government.

After this request, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto also held a press conference and said that from SHO to IG level officers are asking who were the people who came to our house after 2 pm. There was a siege outside GK's house.

He also demanded the Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and the Director General (DG) of Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) to investigate the matter on their own.

Later, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa took notice of the incident in Karachi regarding the 'pressure on the police' to arrest PML-N leader Capt (retd) Safdar.

A statement issued by Sindh Police after the meeting of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari with IG Sindh said that the decision to go on leave was postponed after taking notice of Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

Several tweets issued by Sindh Police said that IG Sindh had postponed his decision to go on leave for the time being and directed his subordinates to postpone their leave applications for 10 days in the national interest.
