New cases of corona virus increased in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday. More than 400 cases have been reported.
According to the Ministry of Health, 416 new patients have been confirmed in the last 24 hours on Wednesday, October 28. Thus, the number of victims in the country has increased to 346,047.
"In the last 24 hours, 433 people have recovered," Sabq News reported, citing figures released by the health ministry. So far, 332,550 people have been cured of the disease.
The health ministry said 19 people had died in Corona yesterday. Thus, the total number of deaths in the country has reached 5,348.
"Currently, the number of active cases in the country has come down to 8,149, out of which 769 patients are undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit."
During the last 24 hours, the highest number of new cases of corona virus in different cities was in Medina where 76 new cases have been reported.
Riyadh 49, Mecca 47, Al-Aqiq 19, Khamis Mushait 19, Dammam 15, Jeddah 10, Hail 9, Wadi Al-Dawasir 9, Al-Mubarz 8, and Al-Hofuf 8 cases have been detected.
According to the latest statistics, the number of coronavirus cases has been confirmed in 22 cities, one in one, one in five cities, two in two and two in 10 cities.
Saudi Arabia continues to take precautionary measures against infectious diseases and the spread of epidemics.
A spokesman for the health ministry said: "The number of Corona cases has been steadily declining and we are moving in the right direction.
The spokesman said that so far all indications of a reduction in Corona cases are promising.
