Former Chief Minister of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti has said that the notification issued by the Government of India regarding lands in Jammu and Kashmir is aimed at depriving the people of Jammu and Kashmir of their rights, depriving them of their democratic rights and seizing their resources. There is another vicious attempt in the series.
In a message posted on the social networking site Twitter, he said that after the repeal of Section 370 and looting of resources, the way has now been paved for open sale of land.

Mufti said this in response to a notification issued by the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs.
It may be recalled that India had issued a notification authorizing Indian nationals to buy land in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
