The first meeting of Pakistan Democratic Moment (PDM) will be held in Gujranwala today for which all preparations have been completed.
According to details, Maulana Fazlur Rehman finalized the plan with the leadership of PDM. Opposition groups called for a boycott of the assembly, but said that maintaining some independence was not the answer. PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz and PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman will reach Gujranwala with convoys from Jamia Ashrafia. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will arrive at the venue with a rally from Lala Musa.
A large number of N-League workers have started arriving outside the Jatiya Amira and goats have also been donated. The meeting will start at 3 pm and will have to end by midnight. An 80 feet long and 24 feet wide stage has been prepared for the leadership of PDM at Jinnah Stadium in Gujranwala. Jinnah Stadium covers 6 acres and has a capacity of 35,000 people.
Corner meetings and public gatherings without NOC are prohibited by the district administration. Only pedestrians will be allowed to go to the venue. The PDM leadership has been asked to ensure implementation of SOPs during the meeting. The district administration has made it mandatory for attendees to implement Corona SOPs.
No PDM leader will speak outside the stadium. PDMG will not close the road. No speech will be made in the meeting against national security agencies and the constitution.
