Amnesty International says domestic workers in Qatar are being mistreated, physically abused and forced to work in extremely unsuitable environments.
According to the emergency website, the international organization said that "105 maids working in Qatar have been met".
"Eighty-five percent of women said they were forced to work 14 hours a day, most of them on occasional weekly leave, while others did not."
The owners keep their passports in their possession, they used to get paid late while some do not get paid.
The international organization has contacted domestic service embassies in Qatar and activists in this regard.
In Qatar, women from Bangladesh, Nepal and India work as domestic servants.
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) says 173,000 women work as domestic workers in Qatar.
It should be noted that the World Cup in Qatar will be held in 2022.
Qatar claims to have made reforms for the rights of foreign workers in the country, with the minimum wage for domestic workers set at 1,000 Qatari riyals.

On the other hand, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has said that the changes in the labor law do not guarantee good treatment of domestic workers.
