Leading actor of Nadeen film industry Sanjay Dutt has said that he has defeated cancer.
"Today, on the occasion of my child's birthday, I am happy to be back as the winner of this battle and to give to my family," Sanjay Dutt wrote on Instagram, Therefore, health and their best care is the greatest gift.
The 61-year-old actor said that his heart is full of gratitude when he is sharing this news with his fans.
In August, Sanjay Dutt said on social media that he was taking a break from work for medical treatment.
Sanjay Dutt emerged as an action hero in the Indian film industry in the 80's when he stunted himself in films.
Sanjay Dutt's mother Nargis Dutt also lost her life due to cancer after which her career went through ups and downs and she became a victim of scandals. In 1993, Sanjay Dutt was arrested in connection with the Mumbai bombings. The blasts killed 257 people.
Sanjay Dutt was convicted in 2006 of illegal possession of firearms.
