Muslim-majority Azerbaijan and the Christian-majority country of Armenia are ready for talks after two weeks of fierce fighting.
According to details, Armenia and Azerbaijan have agreed to participate in the talks in the Russian capital Moscow, foreign media say that Russian President Vladimir Putin had invited the foreign ministers of the two countries for talks.
The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan will arrive in Moscow for the talks, given the tensions between the two countries over the disputed Karabakh region for the past two weeks.
It may be recalled that two days ago in Islamabad, the Deputy Head of Missions of Azerbaijan, Samer Galiyev, had said that Armenia had started the first war, after which we retaliated. In the last 10 days, we have conquered 26 areas, including 1 city.
He said in a press conference that Armenia has started sending terrorists from abroad to the front by arming them, while Azerbaijan is only defending its integrity.
"On October 5, Armenia hit the territory of Azerbaijan with Sumrch and Tochka missiles. We are still targeting the outposts of the shelling Armenian forces," said Colonel Mehman Nowruz, the military attache.
Colonel Mehman Nowruz said that Armenia was spreading misleading news after seeing its defeat, spreading rumors of Pakistan and Turkey's involvement in the war and claiming that 30,000 troops are involved in the war with Azerbaijan. It was said that the Turkish Air Force was also involved in the war.
