Fashion blogger Hamna Raza, who made baseless allegations of sexual harassment against singer and actor Ali Zafar, apologized and said that she made false allegations against Ali Zafar on the basis of a misunderstanding.
Hamna Raza shared a photo of an apology and apologized to Ali Zafar. According to Hamna, on April 19, 2018, after Mesha Shafi's allegations against Ali Zafar, he also tweeted in his support and made false allegations against the actor.
Hamna said that she had said in her tweets that as a fan I felt a little uncomfortable taking selfies with Ali Zafar, in the explanation of her tweet she wrote that there was some confusion at that time and I tweeted that based on a misunderstanding.
The fashion blogger wrote, "My negligence affected the actor's reputation, caused him mental distress and hurt his family, for which I sincerely apologize."
Hamna Raza wrote that in the future she will avoid acting irresponsibly on platforms like social media.
At the end of her message, Hamna also expressed her best wishes for Ali Zafar.
Reacting to Hamna's tweet, Ali Zafar said, "Such a public apology on a public platform is generally considered a sign of weakness, even though it is the work of brave and beautiful people."
Seeking forgiveness specially publicly is considered a sign of weakness whereas it represents true courage and the most beautiful thing about a human being- the will to better oneself. I wish you the best of health and happiness. https://t.co/ceETCjRwSE

The singer also expressed good wishes for Hamna.
It may be recalled that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) of Pakistan had registered a case against singer Ali Zafar against nine accused in an alleged campaign on social media.
The accused include singer Mesha Shafi, Hamna Raza and 9 others.
FIA Lahore cyber crime officials say they have registered an FIR against the accused after a two-year investigation.
According to the Cyber Crime Wing, the accused were given more than three opportunities to defend themselves.
The FIR has been registered under Section 20 of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, officials said. According to the text of the FIR, Mesha Shafi could not produce any witnesses or evidence to substantiate his allegations.
Ali Zafar had approached the FIA a few days before the case was registered against his critics on social media.
Ali Zafar had said in his application to the FIA Cyber Crime Wing that after receiving the Pride of Performance, an inappropriate campaign has been launched against him on social media in which vulgar language is being used.
Singer Ali Zafar had told the FIA in the petition that the campaign against him was being carried out under a well thought out plan.
According to the petition, the conspiracy involves Mesha Shafi, his friend and lawyer, while a number of fake accounts have been created for allegations of harassment and a 'Me Too' campaign against him.
