A Facebook user has shared a post about harassment and harassment by a group of youths inside Karachi University, which has since sparked outrage on social media.
Syed Shaheer Ali, a user, said he had two female friends with him, one of whom was dropped off at the Institute of Business Administration's (IBA) girls' hostel on the Karachi University campus.
He added that he was returning with his other friend when a group of boys on motorcycles surrounded the car and asked him to get out.
Shaheer Ali said he drove fast to the IBA's Boy Hostels but the boys once again surrounded his car and the boys were banging their hands on the windscreen and saying, "To the girl." Get out, stop the car.
Shaheer Ali said he managed to get rid of both groups, while the youths ranged in age from 15 to 25.
He said his friends had been in a state of shock since the incident and could not sleep thinking it was "another possible motorway-like incident".
He said in a shared post that the purpose of sharing these things is that we miraculously escaped from this terrible situation and it is our duty to warn you all so that such an incident does not happen to any of you. Came.
Shaheer Ali added that the university administration was also informed about the incident and is in constant touch with them.

It may be recalled that Shaheer Ali in his post mentioned an incident of rape which took place on Lahore-Sialkot Motorway last month in which a woman was gang-raped in front of her children, however the main accused in the case No arrests have been made yet.
Harris Tawheed, IBA's head of marketing and communications, described the incident as "extremely tragic."
"The safety of students, staff and faculty members is important to the IBA and as soon as the incident was reported to the administration, the matter was immediately taken up with the university's security administration, police and Rangers," he said. ۔
He said IBA security personnel were in constant touch with the affected students and law enforcement agencies.
He added that the campus, hostels and staff complexes of the employees are being monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a day through CCTV.
It is believed that the post was shared more than 4,000 times on Facebook and it became a trend on Twitter where people expressed their anger and shock over the incident inside a university campus.
Throughout the day, 'Karachi University is not safe' was one of the top trends on Twitter as people used the hashtag to demand an investigation into the incident.
