The head of Egypt's world-renowned Al-Azhar University has called on the international community to criminalize actions against Islam and Muslims.
According to Arab media, this statement of Sheikh Ahmad Al-Tayyib of Al-Azhar University has come to light after the blasphemous sketches published in France.
He also said that Al-Azhar University strongly rejects the use of anti-Muslim sentiments to win votes in the elections.
