The victim said that he had been friends with his ex-girlfriend for six years and during that time he used to visit their house and they were in touch through WhatsApp. One day the woman asked him on the video to be naked and then recorded a video of which he was unaware.
A few days later, the woman demanded money and when they refused, she started blackmailing him and posted his video on Facebook. After receiving the complaint, a team of female officers and personnel raided a place in New Karachi and seized 3 mobile phones from the woman. Later, during the forensics of the mobile phone, the presence of Nazeeba videos and their posting on Facebook was confirmed.
The woman was later arrested by the Cyber Crime Wing. The woman was quoted as saying that the arrested woman teaches in a school and had earlier blackmailed and harassed another close relative of the plaintiff in the same manner.
