WhatsApp is expected to introduce a new wallpaper feature for users soon.
According to the WhatsApp update tracking website WABetaInfo, a new Android beta version of the popular messaging application has been updated.
Beta tester version 2.20.200.6 can be downloaded from Google Play Store.
In this update, WhatsApp fixed a bug in the Storage Usage section that was causing the app to crash.
But the highlight of the update is a new feature wallpaper dimming that will help users blur the chat wallpaper.
This feature is located at the bottom of the chat wallpaper editing screen, and the slider lets users customize the wallpaper to their liking.
But this is not the only wallpaper feature that WhatsApp is working on.
Earlier in the beta update, there was a feature called At Wallpapers of Doodles.
This feature will allow users to add default chat wallpapers to each doodle and users will be able to do so on each chat window.
Keep in mind that it is difficult to say how long these two features will be available to the users.
Similarly, a feature called Vacation Mode is being worked on which was being worked on for a long time but it was stopped after 2 years of hard work.
This feature has nothing to do with the holidays, but with reference to archived chats.
At the moment in the WhatsApp, if a chat is moved to the archive, it reappears on the main feed when a new message arrives.
This eliminates the need to move the archive to the archive, and the vacation mode is a bug that helps keep chats in the archive.
Archive chat under this feature will be limited to this section.
When users click on the Archived Chats section, they will also have a notification button next to the archived chats.
This notification button will help users to customize this section according to their needs.
This feature is currently in beta version of Android with 2 toggles buttons in the notification section.
One button will help users to be notified of a new message in the archive chats, while disabling this button will completely hide the archive chats.
The second button is called AutoHide Inactive Chats, which will automatically move a chat to the Hyde section when there is no activity for 6 months.
It should be noted that this feature called Vacation Mode is currently undergoing development and it is not clear how long it will be available to users.
