New revelations are emerging every day in the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case. In this case, besides the CBI, the ED and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) have also started investigations.
According to Indian media reports, Sushant Singh Rajput's doctors, while questioning the Mumbai police, revealed that Sushant was suffering from a disease called 'bipolar disorder'.
He added that Sushant had been suffering from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) for the past 13 years.
Sushant's doctors said that Sushant was undergoing treatment and was also taking various medicines.
According to media reports, Sushant's sister had also told the Mumbai Police in an interview that Sushant's health had deteriorated in 2013.
Recently, the lawyer of Sushant's former manager Sharati Modi had said that Sushant's family knew that he used to take drugs.
Sharati's lawyer had also claimed in his statement that whatever party was held at home, including Sushant's sister, one of his sisters lives in Mumbai.
The lawyer did not name Sushant's sister who joined the party. The lawyer also claimed that Sushant was taking drugs even before he came into a relationship with Riya Chakraborty.
Bipolar disorder is a disease in which the patient's mind is constantly changing. In bipolar disorder, the patient is sometimes very happy and sometimes very sad. As the disease progresses, the patient may attempt suicide.
Media reports say that bipolar disorder is a high level of depression, a kind of mental illness. The patient suffers from depression before bipolar disorder.
When depression is not treated, the patient develops bipolar disorder.
