Storms and hurricanes in the United States, millions of people without electricity




In the US states of Florida and Alabama, more than half a million people have lost power due to storms and hurricanes, and in some places, five feet of standing water has forced people to evacuate.

Hurricane Sally has affected people in many parts of the US state of Florida and Alabama. In some places in Pensacola, the water has risen to several feet, where a bridge has been damaged.

A 130-kilometer-per-hour windstorm in Alabama has uprooted trees and caused waterlogging on roads, causing traffic problems.

Two and a half million people in Florida and three and a half million in Alabama are without electricity. Earlier, several areas of Mississippi were also affected by the storm.
