According to Indian media reports, MP Jaya Bachchan had made a statement against Kangana Ranaut in the Lok Sabha.
Reacting to the statement, Kangana Ranaut posted a statement on the social networking site Twitter.
In the statement, Kangana addressed Jaya Bachchan and said, "Jia ji! Would you say the same thing when your daughter Shweta was beaten, dragged and desecrated in my place? '
He also said, "Would you say the same thing if Abhishek kept complaining of bullying and harassment against him and one day found himself hanged?"
At the end of his message, Kangana Ranaut said that you should also show sympathy for us.
It may be recalled that recently the Municipal Corporation of Mumbai (BMC), the capital of the Indian state of Maharashtra, had broken into the office of Bollywood star actress Kangana Ranaut by declaring it an encroachment.
In this regard, Kangana Ranaut, while addressing the Chief Minister of the Indian state of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray, had said, "Like my house, your ego will also break."
He had also announced to expose director Karan Johar and Udhu Thackeray, after which a case was registered against the actress in Mumbai.
It should be noted that Kangana Ranaut is one of the voices in the film industry against nepotism, while he likened the industry to a 'gutter'.
Speaking in the Rajya Sabha on the same statement, Jaya Bachchan had said that some people in the showbiz industry were being beaten on social media.
He said that the people who made a name for themselves in this industry are calling it a gutter.
Rejecting Kangana Ranaut's statement, Jaya Bachchan said, "I completely disagree with such a statement. I hope the government will tell such people not to use such language."
It should be noted that Kangana Ranaut had also claimed that 99% of the people working in the showbiz industry use drugs.
