Israeli warplanes bombed Gaza a day after the agreement was signed to establish ties with the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
According to a report by Khyber Agency AF, the Israeli Prime Minister demanded that there be rocket attacks from Gaza because he wants the agreements with Israel to be suspended from the Arab countries after 1994.
On the other hand, Hamas, the ruling party in Gaza, warned that if the bombing continued, tensions would rise.
It is believed that Israel had signed the agreement with the foreign ministers of the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain in the presence of US President Donald Trump at the White House yesterday.
The Israeli military said in a statement that about 15 rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip, nine of which were defused.
He said two people were injured by rockets in the southern coastal city of Ashdod.
"We were shocked by the rocket," said a resident of Sderot, a town on the Gaza border.
"It's because of the agreement because they don't want a peace agreement with us and they want to damage it," he said.
The Israeli military says fighter jets have targeted Hamas positions.
Hamas has not responded to allegations of rocket fire, nor has it claimed responsibility.
Accusing Israel of firing rockets at Gaza, the bombing comes at a time when an agreement to establish ties with the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain has been formally signed.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu accused Hamas of wanting to thwart the peace deal, but said "we will target all those who try to harm us and join hands with those who want peace."
Speaking to media after the agreement at the White House, US President Donald Trump said that it was just the beginning and that Israel's relations with more countries would be established.
He said Israel would now sign similar agreements with nine other countries, including Saudi Arabia and regional powers.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has warned that the agreement will not achieve the goal of peace unless the state rights of our people are recognized.
He said peace, security and stability could not be restored as long as Israel occupied the region.
Mahmoud Abbas warned that if the Palestinian people kept its leadership away from any decision, it would have dangerous consequences.
