Another accused involved in gang rape of a woman on Gujjarpura Link Road in Lahore has also been identified.

According to the report of ARY News, significant progress has been made in the investigation of gang rape of a woman on Gujjarpura Link Road in Lahore. Sources said that another accused involved in the incident has also been identified.

According to sources, the second accused involved in the Gujjarpura rape case has been identified as Waqarul Hassan Shah.

It is to be noted that Punjab Police had arrested the main accused last night. The name of the accused is Abid Ali son of Akbar Ali. The accused is a resident of Fort Abbas. The DNA of the accused is 27 years old. Also matched.

Sources said that the accused along with his accomplices broke into the house in 2013 and raped his daughter.

The Chief Minister was informed in the meeting that important evidences including DNA matching have been found. A senior female police officer is in touch with the victim. A big breakthrough regarding the case will come to light in a few hours.
