The DNA of the abused woman and the accused matched.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Dr Shahbaz Gul confirmed that the DNA of the abused woman and the accused was matched and said that work speaks words, not Weldon Bazdar.

According to details, a major breakthrough has come to light in the investigation of gang rape of a woman on Gujjarpura Link Road in Lahore. According to sources, the sample obtained from the spot and the DNA of the accused have been matched.

Later, Dr Shahbaz Gul, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, said in a statement on social networking site Twitter that a DNA match had taken place in the rape case and an arrest would be made soon. To the team

Shahbaz Gul said that the Chief Minister Punjab was in a meeting with the IG, CCP OK till 4 pm. The Punjab Chief Minister himself monitored the whole case.

It may be recalled that the Punjab Police had arrested the accused last night. The accused's name is Abid Ali son of Akbar Ali. The accused is a resident of Fort Abbas. The DNA of the accused is 27 years old.

According to sources, the accused along with his accomplices broke into the house in 2013 and raped his daughter.

It may be recalled that a meeting of the inquiry committee was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar in the Gujjarpura rape case. A senior female police officer is in touch with the victim. In a few hours, a big breakthrough will come out regarding the case.
