Former DG LDA Ahad Cheema acquitted by the court.

The court acquitted former DG Lahore Development Authority Uhad Cheema in the LDA City case.

According to details, the accountability court acquitted 10 accused including Ahad Cheema in the LDA City corruption case and also granted the request to close the investigation against the accused. Accountability court judge Jawad Al Hassan requested to close the NAB investigation Also accepted

The NAB had requested to close the investigation of the LDA City case against Ahad Khan Cheema and other accused. The accused were accused of alleged corruption of crores of rupees in the LDA City O Ahad Cheema was arrested for one and a half years.

The Lahore High Court had granted bail to Ahad Cheema but Ahad Cheema is lodged in jail on judicial remand in a case of disproportionate assets.
