DG ISPR spoke openly today.

Pakistan Army spokesman Major General Babar Iftikhar said that PML-N leader Muhammad Zubair had two meetings with Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa in which Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz were discussed.

Talking to private TV  News, Major General Babar Iftikhar said that PML-N leader Muhammad Zubair had two meetings with the Army Chief. Both meetings were related to Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz. The first meeting took place in the last week of August and the second on September 7, both at the request of Muhammad Zubair, in which DG ISI was also present.

Major General Babar Iftikhar said that both the meetings were with reference to Mian Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz. On this, the Army Chief clarified that legal issues would be resolved through the courts and political issues would be resolved through Parliament, keeping the Army away from these issues.
