Bangladesh blast: Death toll rises to 24.

 

The death toll from a horrific blast at a Bangladeshi mosque has risen to 24, with several worshipers in critical condition.

According to the report of a foreign news agency, a sudden explosion took place during prayers in a mosque in Dhaka last Friday night. The explosion swallowed the lives of 24 people due to the explosion of the gas pipeline.

According to the report, the testimonies of 16 people were initially reported but now the death toll has risen, while the bodies of dozens of worshipers have been badly burnt, many of them in critical condition.

The injured are undergoing treatment at a special plastic surgery hospital. The doctor said that a 7-year-old child was also among the martyrs. The bodies of 37 people under treatment have been burnt up to 90%.

An eyewitness to the blast said that he was in the hiding place of his house when suddenly a horrible sound was heard, then smoke started rising from the scene and then the sounds of screaming started coming.
