In the Indian state of Odisha, a video of a brutal mother strangling a child went viral, police arrested the woman.

According to details, a man in the Indian state of Orissa posted a video of his wife on social media in which the woman was strangling her 15-month-old baby.

Police took action on the husband's report and arrested the woman seen in the video. The husband alleged that the wife had abused the parents and the child in my absence.

The victim's father told police that he had installed CCTV cameras in the house due to his wife's violence against the child and parents so that his real face could be seen.

The woman, on the other hand, denied her husband's allegations, saying that her husband, mother-in-law and father-in-law abused her and kept her hungry for several days.

The woman said she beat the child out of hunger and stress. Police launched an investigation to find out the facts.
