The Lebanese capital, Beirut, has been rocked by an explosion at an arms depot at the port, the wounded city is now infected with the coronavirus and hospitals and medical staff are in critical condition.

He said there was no room for more patients in the areas of artificial respiration or intensive care, adding that both public and private sector hospitals were on the same page.
"We are on the brink of disaster. To deal with the current situation, a complete lockdown will have to be imposed across the country for two weeks to protect the areas affected by the Beirut port blast," he added. These are the places where aid organizations are constantly working.
The past two weeks have seen a record increase in the number of confirmed cases of the corona virus in Lebanon, with 9,337 victims and 105 deaths in Lebanon.
