Terrible hurricane hits the coast in the United States, alert issued.

A devastating Category 4 hurricane "Laura" has hit the US state of Louisiana.
Rainstorms continue in Lake Charles, Louisiana, while more than 100,000 people in Louisiana and Texas are without power.

According to the foreign news agency, evacuation warnings have been issued for more than 600,000 people from the Texas and Louisiana areas who are on the way to the Category 4 hurricane, while the intensity of the hurricane is likely to increase further.

The ITN, the main highway connecting the southern states of the United States, has been closed to traffic at several places, with a record 25 major hurricanes expected in the Atlantic Ocean this year. Laura is the twelfth big storm of the season.

The Louisiana governor has warned that storm-affected areas of the state could be submerged, with winds blowing at speeds of up to 150 miles per hour. Another hurricane, Laura, has killed at least 21 people in Haiti.
