According to India Times, the incident took place in the Indian city of Bangalore, where the 28-year-old girl was living with her husband in the JC Nagar area. When the husband learned that his wife had contracted the corona virus, he left home and never returned.

According to police, the girl was working as a sales girl while her husband was a taxi driver. The two met two years ago and fell in love. On which they got married. The girl was diabetic and had high blood pressure. Two days ago, she showed symptoms of corona virus, so she went to the hospital for a test and tested positive. When she returned home and told her husband, he left immediately. The girl's condition worsened that day and she died at night. The girl's parents informed the police who called her husband but he did not return and the police and the local administration performed the girl's last rites.
