According to the Kashmir Media Service, security personnel rushed to the spot at the sound of gunfire at an Indian Air Force base in Udhampur area of ​​Occupied Kashmir.

Shabham was shifted to Adhampur Military Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The doctor said the officer was shot in the head at close range, indicating that he had committed suicide. Shabham's body will be sent to his native Kanpur after necessary procedures.

It should be noted that the number of Indian personnel who have committed suicide in occupied Kashmir since 2007 has risen to 464 due to low morale and mental stress.
