India has fixed the price of a dose of corona vaccine at Rs 225 for low-income countries.
The price of a possible corona vaccine has been fixed at Rs 225 by the Serum Institute, a Pune-based vaccine agency. The vaccine will be provided to low-income countries of the world, including India, at this fixed price.
The chief executive of the Serum Institute says that in the first half of 2021, the production of corona vaccine will be accelerated, the company will try to prepare and distribute 100 million doses in this period.
On the other hand, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will release a 150 million fund called the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization. The Serum Institute has partnered with the Foundation to distribute 100 million doses.
