Beirut bombing, Turkey offers to rebuild the port destroyed in the blast

 

Turkish Vice President Fouad Oktay has offered the Lebanese president to rebuild the port of Mersin.

According to the World News Agency, Turkish Vice President Fouad Oktay and Foreign Minister Mevlvuاlu met with Lebanese President Michel Naim Aoun and expressed sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the port blast. The two ministers also conveyed the Turkish president's offer to rebuild the port of Mersin.

Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told reporters after Friday prayers at Aya Sofia's Grand Mosque that Turkey had sent military planes loaded with relief supplies, including a number of military aid and medical supplies. In this difficult time, we will not leave our Lebanese brothers alone.

It should be noted that on Tuesday, a terrible explosion took place in the store of ammonium nitrate in the Lebanese port in which 135 people were killed, more than 5,000 were injured and hundreds of residential houses were destroyed and the whole area was reduced to rubble.
