Lahore : Legal notices have been sent to actress Saba Qamar, Glocarbalal Saeed and Waldsti for shooting video of the song in Wazir Khan Mosque.

 According to details, while the video of the recording of the song in the historic Masjid Wazir Khan went viral, while the social and religious circles are strongly condemning the move, the provincial endowment minister took notice of the filming of the Wazir Khan Masjid and asked the endowment secretary to suspend the concerned officials. The video of the song of actress Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed has gone viral on social media. The song was filmed in the historic Wazir Khan Mosque in which the sanctity of the mosque has been violated.

According to reports, the Punjab Endowment Department had conditionally allowed the private production house to record in the mosque. In these conditions, it has been made clear that no such thing will be done in the mosque which would violate the sanctity of the mosque. The endowment department has also banned commercial photography of weddings in Badshahi Mosque, Wazir Khan Mosque and other mosques. According to endowment sources, the private production house has recorded songs in violation of SOPs.

The move is being strongly condemned by religious circles after the video of the song being shot in the mosque became social media. Muttahida Ulema Board Punjab Chairman Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi has demanded that commercial video and photography be banned in mosques. Allama Zubair Ahmad Zaheer has said that immediate action should be taken against those who disrespect the house of Allah and do not take care of the sanctity of that house.

Social media users say that how did the endowment department allow the recording of songs in a sacred institution like a mosque? Consumers have called on the government to take action.

On the other hand, Provincial Minister for Endowments, Pir Saeed Al Hassan Shah, taking notice of the incident, has ordered Secretary Endowments, Dr. Shad Ahmed, to immediately suspend the concerned officials, and has demanded an inquiry report within three days. Parsaid Saeed Al Hassan Shah said that such irresponsible incidents will not be tolerated at all, the sanctity of mosques and holy religious places will be maintained at all costs.

On the other hand, Bilal Saeed and actress Saba Qamar have clarified from their Twitter accounts that only scenes of the marriage ceremony were filmed in the historic mosque and music is not included in the background of these scenes. Both artists say they still apologize for hurting people's hearts.

A petition has been filed against actress Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed by a citizen named Hassan in Iqbal Town police station. The petitioner has said that the video song was filmed and danced in Wazir Khan Mosque and the sanctity of the mosque was violated. The video song was shot under the nose of the mosque administration. A case should be registered against these persons and legal action should be taken against them.
