A case has been registered against three accused on the complaint of Syed Asif Ali Shah, father of Dr Maha Ali Shah, who committed suicide in Defense, and one accused dentist has been arrested. Dr Maha Ali's father Syed Asif Ali Shah had filed a petition at Gizri police station against the three accused who allegedly caused the death of his daughter. According to Bashir Brohi, three accused have been named in the FIRs registered under Sections 354, 337J, 506 and 34.

According to the police, a dentist of a well-known local hospital named in the FIR has been arrested while raids are being carried out to arrest Junaid Khan, a friend of Maha named in the case, and another doctor. According to Bashir Brohi, Maha Ali is accused of torturing, injuring and breaking his teeth. According to police, the arrested dentist is accused of calling Maha Ali to his office and giving him drugs and alcohol. The accused are accused of blackmailing the girl He has also been charged with aggravated assault. According to police, the plaintiff said that his daughter was allegedly victimized by these people in such a way that she was forced to die. According to the police, an investigation is underway in this regard.
