A new threat began to arise

Monsoon torrential rains in Pakistan have raised another threat after fears of flooding in rivers and India has started discharging more water unannounced. According to Express News, sources in the Water Commission said. He said that about 1.5 lakh cusecs of water was flowing at Marala at present and it would be dangerous if up to 400,000 cusecs of water flowed from here.

Sources said that no contact was made by India regarding timely notification before releasing water. He had also written a letter to India on August 22 to ensure the provision of information. Sources in the Indus Water Commission said that Pakistan has demanded timely information from India regarding water discharge. It should be noted that the Meteorological Department in Pakistan has expressed fears of floods and flash floods in various rivers of the country as a result of heavy rains during the monsoon.
