The Indian government issued another decision regarding occupied Kashmir

بھارتی حکومت نے مقبوضہ کشمیر کے حوالے سے ایک اور فیصلہ سنادیا

New Delhi (Daily Pakistan Online) The Indian government has announced another decision regarding the double lock-down imposed by the extremist Indian government due to curfew and corona-like epidemic.

India today announced the opening of occupied Kashmir for tourism from Tuesday.

According to the instructions issued by the Indian government, only tourists who arrive by air will be allowed to enter the valley.

In the meantime, tourists must also book hotel and return tickets.

According to the BBC, the Indian government has also announced to test the passengers on their arrival. The spread of the virus has affected the tourism industry around the world. But tourism in occupied Kashmir was being affected even before the global crisis.

In August 2019, the Modi government abolished the special status of Occupied Kashmir in the constitution and imposed a curfew across the valley. Millions of troops were deployed there and the media was suspended while local politicians were detained.

Although telephone and internet services have now been restored, the availability and speed of these services have not improved much, which has become commonplace in India.

The deteriorating situation has severely affected the tourism industry in Kashmir, which is a source of income for thousands of people.

Tourists will be allowed to enter the valley but the lockdown has been re-imposed from Monday following the increase in Corona victims in Srinagar.

According to officials, 10,500 people in the valley have been diagnosed with corona.
Hundreds of innocent Kashmiris have been martyred in the last one year.
