The dollar depreciated in the interbank market



KARACHI: The dollar has depreciated at the start of trading in the interbank market, while the stock market is witnessing a sharp rise today, on which business people are seen expressing happiness.

According to the details, the dollar has depreciated by 30 paise at the start of trading in the interbank market and is currently trading at Rs 166.57. On the other hand, the stock market is witnessing a surge at the beginning of trading today, while the 100 Index had managed to cross the psychological level of 38,000 yesterday. When trading started today, the 100 Index was at 38,221 points. Soon it started to improve and the index increased by 398 points to 38,619 points.
