Sharpshooter arrested in Sidhu Moose wala murder case

MUMBAI: Police have arrested sharpshooter Soro Mahakal in Pune in connection with another major arrest in the Sidhu Moose wala murder case.

According to details, Pune Rural Police in a major victory in Maharashtra on Wednesday arrested sharpshooter Soro Mahakal in connection with the murder of famous Punjab singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moose wala.

Soro Mahakal is one of the two notorious criminals of Pune district in connection with the murder of Moose Wala, while his accomplice Santosh Jadhav is still at large.

It may be recalled that Sidhu Moose wala was on his way from a village in Mansa district of Punjab with his companions on May 29 when thugs chased him and shot him dead.

Inquiries revealed that Delhi's Lawrence Bishnoi gang had tried to avenge the murder of his accomplice, Punjab police had earlier arrested three persons, and Pune rural police were searching for Jadoo and Mahakal. I was, he was involved in a murder before.

Police arrested Mahakal and produced him in court on Wednesday. The court has remanded Mahakal in police custody till June 20.
