LONDON - British Airways has decided to suspend flights to Islamabad from June 15 to June 30, 2022 for operational and commercial reasons.
The station manager of British Airways has informed the manager of Islamabad International Airport that the flights of British Airways to Islamabad will continue till June 15.
According to the management of British Airways, Islam route is being suspended for two weeks due to operational and commercial reasons. We also gave as many notices as we could to inform the customers. And sorry, customers have been given full facilities, alternative booking or refund options. British Airways flights have been suspended for only two weeks from June 15, with further schedules or changes to be announced, and must be consulted on the British Airways website prior to travel.
According to a CAA spokesperson, the suspension of flights was due to British Airways' operational and commercial reasons only. According to Express News, PCAA has also taken a report from the aviation fuel supplier at Islamabad Airport which has confirmed that there is no shortage of fuel and the fuel storage tanks are full.
