At least 18 people were killed and 72 injured in 13 shootings in the United States between June 3 and 5.

Thirteen shootings occurred between Friday evening and Sunday evening as the debate over gun control intensified after a series of shootings across the United States in May.

Such incidents are called mass shootings in the United States, in which at least four people are shot.

Chattanooga, Tennessee

According to the Associated Press, two people were killed and 14 others were injured in a shooting at a nightclub in the area on Sunday morning, many of them in critical condition.

After the incident, several vehicles collided with each other due to stampede, as a result of which one person was killed.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Three people have been killed in a shooting at a popular Philadelphia resort.

According to local police, several assailants opened fire on the evening of June 4, killing and injuring 11 people.

Five guns were used in the incident and one of the assailants escaped with police firing.

A 14-year-old girl was killed and eight others were injured in a shootout at a mall on the morning of June 4, two of them in critical condition.

Summerton, South Carolina

One woman was killed and seven others were injured when assailants opened fire on two vehicles during a graduation party on the evening of June 4.

According to local police, it was not immediately clear what caused the shooting.

A young man was killed and seven others were injured in a shooting at a graduation party in the area on the evening of June 3.
