Hakeem Hussain's mother sentenced to 20 years in prison

BIRMINGHAM: A British court has sentenced the mother of a seven-year-old boy to 20 years in prison for killing herself on a lawn.

According to British media, the case was decided by a court three years later in which 40-year-old Lara Heath was convicted of involuntary manslaughter of 7-year-old Hakim Hussain and negligence in child care.

During the hearing, the court was told that Hakeem Hussain was suffering from asthma while his mother Lara Heath was addicted to drugs.
