Dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, rabbits, turtles and other animals, numbering 183, were found in the freezer when police raided the home of a man named Michael Patrick in the US state of Arizona.
Police say some of the animals recovered were still alive despite being frozen.
A neighbor of Michael Peters had handed over her snake to him for care, but when the snake was not returned, he lodged a complaint with the police, after which the police took action.
