Saudi Arabia has tightened travel restrictions on overseas travelers to prevent the spread of the new Corona Omicron.
According to the international news agency, vaccination and negative PCR or rapid test has been made mandatory for arrival in Saudi Arabia and this test must be done within 48 hours of departure to Saudi Arabia.
The guidelines issued by Saudi Aviation state that children under the age of 8 will be exempt from vaccination and testing restrictions.
Similarly, booster dose has been made mandatory for travelers wishing to depart from Saudi Arabia and the booster has been installed for a maximum of 3 months.
A statement from Saudi Aviation said the travel ban would take effect on Wednesday, February 9, and that legal action would be taken against those who violated the order, including blacklisting passengers.
It should be noted that the Saudi Ministry of Interior has announced a fine of up to 1,000 riyals for violating the ban on wearing a mask, however, a fine of up to 100,000 riyals can be imposed for repeated violators.
