Mother-in-law commits suicide at son-in-law's request, case registered

In India, the mother-in-law committed suicide at the behest of her son-in-law, while the police arrested the son-in-law and registered a case against him.

According to Indian media, the police said that during a domestic dispute in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, the mother-in-law ended her life at the request of the son-in-law. A case was registered against the son-in-law and he was arrested. He had been living with his wife and children for days. The accused's son was watching TV instead of studying. The accused got angry and started beating his son.

Police say that when the wife tried to seduce the son, the accused started beating her and her mother-in-law and father-in-law intervened. The father-in-law got angry and left the house. The accused also fought with his mother-in-law and told her to commit suicide. The mother-in-law of the accused died during treatment.

Police said that the accused is a farmer by profession. The accused will be produced in court.
