A mother is facing trial in Uzbekistan after a 3-year-old girl was deliberately thrown into a bear cage.
According to local media reports, the incident took place at a zoo in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent, which was recorded on surveillance cameras.
The footage shows the mother holding the baby in her arms, standing near the fence near the bear's compound, when suddenly the baby falls out of her arms.
Seeing the baby fall down, the bear quickly approaches her but fortunately he does not harm her and just sniffs away.
Meanwhile, the zoo staff arrives, some people chase the bear to a nearby compound, after which the baby is rescued safely from the compound.
Falling down has injured the girl's brain while also scratching her body.
People present there said that they had realized that the mother wanted to do something wrong and they wanted to stop it but then in the blink of an eye this unfortunate incident happened.
Police have arrested the mother and are prosecuting her for attempted murder.
