The President of Northern Macedonia, Steve Pendravsky, dropped out of school for a young girl with Down syndrome because other students used to make fun of her.
According to the International News Agency, the Macedonian president arrived at the home of an 11-year-old girl who was the victim of a joke and ridicule at school, suffering from a genetic disease Down syndrome.
The other students at the school were joking about the girl's appearance and words, and the 11-year-old refused to go to school. As soon as this news reached the President of Macedonia, he took full action.
Macedonian President Steve Penderowski visited the girl, who was ridiculed for having Down Syndrome, at her home and met with her parents, who agreed to let her go to school.
The Macedonian president then took the Down Syndrome girl to school on foot. The teachers and students of the school were amazed on this occasion.
Upon the president's arrival, the students expressed regret over their treatment of their Down syndrome girl and hugged her.
