The woman said that her boyfriend had been suffering from kidney disease for many years and was undergoing dialysis and after his condition deteriorated, doctors advised him to have a kidney transplant.

According to the woman, luckily her and her boyfriend's blood matched, after which Colin decided to donate one of his kidneys to her and gave her his own.
