An anti-terrorism court has sentenced the first accused in the Priyantha Kumara murder case to one year imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000.
According to details, the murder case of Priyantha was heard in the anti-terrorism court of Gujranwala. The court convicted the first accused in the case.
Accused Adnan pleaded guilty in court, on which the judge sentenced the accused to one year imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000.
Accused Adnan, while justifying the murder of a Sri Lankan citizen, advertised it on his YouTube channel and termed it as a just act on which a case has been registered in Rangpur Sialkot police station.
It is to be noted that Priyantha, a foreign manager working in a leather factory in Sialkot, was tortured to death by the employees on the charge of blasphemy and then her body was burnt in the square.
Wallace later named 85 suspects in the initial challan of the Sialkot tragedy, while 10 to 12 were named as the main culprits, including several factory workers.
