Irfan already knew that he would not be able to live long

Senior Indian actor Naseeruddin Shah has revealed in an interview that the late actor Irfan Khan knew two years before his death that he would not be able to live long.

During an interview, Naseer-ud-Din Shah said that he had talked to Irfan Khan about his illness several times, even when he was undergoing treatment in a London hospital.

He added that the way Irfan coped with his illness was amazing. He fought his war with great bravery till the last moment.

He said that Irfan used to say that I see death approaching me, how many people would have the opportunity to see their death and accept it gladly.

Naseer-ud-Din Shah said that Irfan's departure from this world is a great loss, but it is not in our hands.

It should be noted that actor Irfan Khan passed away on April 29, 2020, while he had been suffering from cancer for a long time.
