Leading Hollywood actress Emma Watson, 31, has been branded an "enemy of the Jews" by Israeli politicians and ambassadors after she posted on social media expressing solidarity with the Palestinians.
On January 3, the actress posted a photo on Instagram expressing solidarity with the Palestinians, as well as writing a poem about the "solidarity" of British-born Australian Muslim writer Sarah Ahmed.
The actress' shared photo and post about solidarity went viral, and the Israeli and British media, including the British and American media, made headlines and were praised by pro-Palestinian people around the world.
While Emma Watson's post received worldwide attention, Israeli politicians and the Jewish people were angry with her and some even called her an "enemy of the Jews."
Criticizing the actress for expressing solidarity with the Palestinians, Israeli Ambassador to the United States Gilad Jordan called her an "enemy of the Jews."
Criticizing Emma Watson, he wrote that another argument against the anti-Palestinian movement was that calling for Palestinian independence was tantamount to "anti-Semitism."

Even before Emma Watson, many Hollywood celebrities and celebrities have spoken out in favor of the Palestinians. Last year, model Bella Hadid was also branded an "enemy of the Jews" for expressing solidarity with the Palestinians.
Last year, Hollywood actor and social activist Marc Rafalo also backed Palestine, but after much criticism, he finally had to apologize.
